About Me!

Hi, I am Alexis, I am a stay at home and home school mama, a wife to a military veteran, and a dog mama, almost forgot to add that one, and an interior design student. I live in the north suburbs of Houston, Texas.. where you only see one season.. summer! I live life to the fullest a stay at home mom of two boys can, love everyday I am alive, and love changing everything is our casa!! Tends to drive my husband crazy.. but who doesn’t drive their husband crazy. Right?

I have always had a hobby of decorating and redecorating everything in my home. I absolutely love love change. Change is fun! It use to be just changing paint colors on the walls, updating bedspreads, accent decor.. that was until my husband taught me power tools and OMG that’s a whole new ball game! I am sure he regrets teaching me sometimes. Once your able to make your own furniture, builtins, wall art.. you make things exactly how you want and you do not have to go out and spend a fortune, which is great for us budget friendly people.

Anyways enough of my rambling, I am here to service you with ideas for your home, DIY tutorials you will have fun doing, and can help teach you along the way. I want to help make our homes a Pinterest worthy home that we can love and brag about and what better way to brag when you can say you built or decorated yourself!
