This year for Easter we are hosting at my house so this got me extremely excited to decorate for Easter. Do y’all ever get excited to decorate when you find out your hosting a holiday? Last year I was a little more on the neutral side of decor for Easter but this year I really a wanted to add more color. I decided to add some soft pastels and have a simple Peter Rabbit themed Easter.. plus my boys love Peter Rabbit!
I found the cutest Peter Rabbit plates at Pottery Barn and they were on sale! That made me super happy because I will be honest I do not like paying full price for something at Pottery Barn when I know it will be on sale after Easter. I shouldn’t be like that but I have been on a budget for so long that is just how I have gotten to be, which is A-okay!
This is probably the most colorful part of my dining room table thanks to these carrots! When I saw them I knew I had to have them and they were the last set my Micheals had! I feel like every Easter table has to have some carrots!
The Bunny Fold
We can’t have an Easter table without a bunny fold napkin! Once I learned the bunny fold, which is incredibly easy by the way, I wanted to have bunny folds everywhere! I also had bunny ear napkin holders that I wanted to also use so I had to figure out a way to use both! Which turned out super cute!
I have a tutorial video you can watch on this bunny fold. It is so simple! The linen napkins I used match my table setting perfectly but I do recommend using a stiffer napkin. The floral napkin in my tutorial I felt worked better but of course the softer linen napkin turned out decent.
The BUNNIES!
I was all over the place with colors, I knew I wanted to be more in the neutral zone but its Easter and I wanted it to be fun especially for my boys, James &Noah. I knew they would love seeing soft pastels, bunnies, and Easter eggs so that is exactly what I added to my table! If you want to see more color you should check out my spring table here!
Details
Details matter so much when it comes to decorating. I love going all out with little accents it definitely completes the space. I added lots of eggs, carrots, flowers, and greenery to my dining room this Easter and couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. Now I just need to figure out a menu for Easter and get my Easter baskets together
I have been pretty busy lately and didn’t realize Easter is 3 weeks away!!! Where is time going this year.
Centerpiece
My centerpiece is something I have seen on Pinterest quite a few times so I finally gave it a shot. I just love how it came out. I found the glass vase at Hobby lobby for 50 percent off, I think it totaled like 12$. I used a paper towel roll on the inside of the vase and added my neutral eggs to it along with my hobby lobby lavender! Isn’t hobby lobby the amazing! The vase and eggs came out so pretty!
Ending
I think my dining room space is finished for Easter. I will try to get my kitchen details on here soon! Do not forget to follow me on Instagram if you aren’t already, you can find me here! You can also check out my LTK here if you would like to know where something is from! Nice chatting!
